(in 1164 in Cairo) The soldiers shouted warlike and invaded the Hotel of the Vizierate (in Cairo). Schawar (1) fled ……., mounted his horse, girded on his sword and went to the gate of conquest, he found it closed and guarded by Negroes. He called out: 0 Zendjs! They answered his call, allowed him to go and they opened the gate. He stopped in the middle of them, thanked, praised them and promised them that if Allah gave him back his kingdom, he would give them the most generous compensation …
