The scholars of Zabid (1); Sheikh Majd al- Din al - Shirazi and Imam Nafis al-Din al- Alawi who died in thirty - eight and eight hundred (1435) and including Faqih Jamal al- Din Muhammad ibn Abi al - Qasim Al Maqdashi (2) who read on a group of art literature , the most famous jurist Shams al- Din Ali Al Akqash arranged a tribute of the sons of Sultan Ashraf ibn Al Afdal (3) and Al-Zaher (4) and his younger brothers , ……

…and died in the year 845AH (1441) in the benefit and mercy of Allah; Sharaf al-Din Abu al-Qasim bin Ali knewn as Ibn Zubaydah and he who read the art of literature on the jurisprudent Jamal al-Din al-Maqdashi…

(1) Zabid: town on Yemen's western coastal plain. It is one of the oldest towns in Yemen.

(2) Faqih Jamal al- Din Muhammad ibn Abi al - Qasim Al Maqdashi: also mentioned by Al-Sakhawi (1497).

(3) Most probably Rasulid Sultan al-Ashraf Isma’il I who ruled 1377–1400 CE or al-Ashraf Isma’il II who ruled 1427–1428 CE.

(4) Most probably Rasulid Sultan az-Zahir Yahya who ruled 1428–1439 CE.
