The land of the Tazigan (Arabs) and Barbaristan is a hot and dry desert, it has no fruit and water is scarce, and their food is milk and noxious creatures and mice, snakes, cats, foxes, hyenas and others of that kind. They warship images (or statues) and their living is on camels and quadrupeds, having nothing else.
Note: some authors say Barbaristan is the land of the berbers (N. Africa) others say it is Somalia.
