Aden, Arabiae Foelicis Emporium

Celeberrimi Nominis, quo ex India,

Aethiopia ... [on sheet with] Mombaza

[and] Quiloa [and] Cefala - Braun and

Hogenberg, 1574. As we talk here about

the History of East Africa I left behind

the drawing of Aden. These drawings of

Kilwa Mombasa and Sofala are although

fictional among the oldest we have of

these towns. The first drawing given is

Sofala the second Kilwa and last

Mombasa
