Dionysius Periegetes a Greek from the 3th century
Egypt is so much irrigated by the Nile that somebody called it the river island. You have to know that Herodote says that the sources of the Nile are unknown.... but others say the Nile starts at the Mountains of the Moon or the Moon Mountains and the land of the Cinnamon at the borders of Ethiopia.
