Mingshilu 明實錄 "Veritable records of the Ming dynasty" is a collection of chronologically arranged records (edicts, protocols) from the Ming court. It covers the whole course of the Ming period 明 (1368-1644). Its fifth part is the Yingzong shi lu (1467). Yingzong Rui Huangdi shilu (1436-1464) about the emperors Zhengtong 正統, Jingtai 景泰, Tianshun 天順. Written by the official Yang Shiqi 1467.

Zheng-tong (1): Year 3, Month 10, Day 1 (19 Oct 1438)
The envoy Xia-er-ye-mei (2) and others who had been sent by the country of Bengal, came to Court and offered tribute of giraffes, white parrots, red parrots, white pigeons and other goods. A banquet as well as suits of clothing made from silk interwoven with gold thread, and variegated silks, as appropriate, were conferred upon them.
