This list of places up to where Swahili trade reached is not complete; it only serves to give an impression on its reach.

Only places where the medieval Swahili cities might have been the reason for exotic archaeological finds are mentioned. Older finds than the Middle Ages in very well known archaeological sides are not mentioned. Like: Lake Turkana in Kenya and Kabusanze in Rwanda.
